Dr. Nolan was born and raised in Washington with the majority of his childhood spent in Anacortes. This is where he developed his love for the ocean and sailing, among the beautiful San Juan Islands.
Dr. Nolan attended the University of Washington and graduated with a degree in biology. During his time at the UW Dr. Nolan met his wife Alycia, a Bellevue native. She went on to earn a Master’s degree in teaching and taught kindergarten at Bellevue’s Woodridge Elementary during Dr. Nolan’s dental school years. The two enjoy their 2 very active children, Jackson and Kinley.
After college, Dr. Nolan took some time to pursue some of his passions in life. This included leading a cross-country bicycle ride benefiting people with special needs, living in Jackson Hole, WY during the winters to ski and returning to Bellevue in the summers to run a local sailing camp for kids.
Dr. Nolan returned to the UW for dental school, where he was recognized for his commitment to people with special needs and his passion for pediatric dentistry. Dr. Nolan attended a two-year residency through the UW, based in Yakima, WA. Working at a community health clinic, Dr. Nolan gained valuable clinical experience treating children of all ages. Dr. Nolan’s patients ranged from healthy infants, toddlers and teens, to patients with severe disabilities which required advanced treatment planning and techniques.
Dr. Nolan and his family are excited to be back in the Northwest, close to family, friends and the activities they enjoy. When not at the office you may find Dr. Nolan skiing, sailing, hiking or biking with Alycia, Jackson, Kinley and their dog, Kone.
